Among the special anniversaries being celebrated at Yorkshire Elegance in 2026 will the Centenary of Mercedes-Benz. On display will be very early veteran Daimler-powered motor cars and iconic Mercedes-Benz classic vehicles.
Founded in 1926 by the merger of two major German automotive companies: Benz & Cie. (founded by Karl Benz) and Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG), founded by Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach in 1890.
