Williams FW-07 1980 F1 World Champion

Alan Jones drove the Williams FW07B to win the 1980 Formula 1 World Championship, beating Nelson Piquet & Renault to the title, winning 5 of the 14 races that season. The car was a key part of Williams Racing’s first Constructors’ and Drivers’ Championship wins. The FW07B  utilized ground effect technology to generate downforce.

The car will be on display at Yorkshire Elegance and it will be started up so guests will hear the Ford V8 Cosworth.
